Little Child- Big Heart= BIG IMPACT!
Leedy Corbin at age 5, has already begun a life of caring about others that have less.

When Leedy learned about the homeless men, women and children on our streets of Albuquerque she immediately began to form a plan on how she would help give one home of their own. Her dream was to save up enough money to buy a house, but after telling her mother about what she wanted to do(and being lovingly steered towards feeding a table filled with our guests here at the Mission as a goal) she enthusiastically began working to do just that.

Over 2 months she saved every penny of her allowance, found pennies on the street, even took up a collection at the holiday festivities her family took part in, she came to the mission with her little box mostly filled with change and a big smile for the good she was doing.

Her hard work paid off with a gift to the Mission of $31.53!

We want to thank Leedy, her family and friends, and all of our dedicated, caring donors every day!

Without you, we cannot complete the work our Lord has given us.

104.7 THE EDGE!- NOT SO SILENT AUCTION and TOY DRIVE
Cherry Red -Autographed Electric Guitars, Concert Posters, Biographies, CD's and so much more was collected and sold off to the highest bidder during the Edge's 104.7 "Not so Silent Night" Auction- last Friday- all proceeds went to Albuquerque Rescue Mission.

BUT WAIT ! THERE'S MORE-

I just went in to look at an entire ROOM FILLED with beautiful toys-

These were collected for the needy children here in ABQ by THE EDGE 104.7- and will be handed out during "Gifts from the Heart" on December 21st, at 1 pm right here at the mission-

These were donated by station fans - eager to pick up free tickets to bands performing in a special concert put together by THE EDGE 104.7 !

The donations and toys help our Mission bring smiles, warm food, clothes and shelter along with the message of Christmas to the hurting and homeless men, women, and children this holiday season.

Thanks goes out to the bands donating their cool items, 104.7 THE EDGE and all those that worked hard to bring these events together.

And thank you rock'n donors .. without you- we can't keep up the good work!

Helping Hands-SageBrush Community Church
Many thanks to Sagebrush Community Church for their extremely well organized volunteers and their “Second Saturday” community-volunteering program, who spent a Saturday morning in September working to revamp our newly purchased Women’s Center of Hope with brooms, dustpans, paint, chainsaws (tree trimming), and sheer brute force! The huge dumpster filled to the brim within the first hour with the broken furniture, torn up flooring and outside trash gathered up by the eager hands

It was simply amazing to see what a large group of determined people can accomplish in only a few hours! Thanks be to God for Sagebrush Community Church Volunteer’s help and support in this crucial ministry for the homeless women of our community and Albuquerque Rescue Mission.

Mary J Mann Photography-Keeping Albuquerque WARM!

Mary J Mann Photography Studio held an open house and blanket drive for ARM on October 30th. They offered a free 5x7 of each child in a Halloween costume when one or more blankets in twin-double or queen size or adult sleeping bags or coats and other winter wear were donated to the mission's homeless. They day was a huge sucess and many blankets, coats, sweaters, hats and mittens were collected. They had so much fun in this one day that they decided to continue on with this special throughout the winter. Bring a coat or blanket to donate to the mission and receive a free 5x7 with your photography package.

Call ahead for an appointment!
