Please pray for the new Women's Center of Hope Oct 29, 2007
As the number of homeless women in our city has continued to grow, the Albuquerque Rescue Mission has prayerfully lainched a new ministry to this most vulnerable group of people.
The new Women's Center of Hope will provide not only life saving shelter but meaningful, effective programs to help women overcome the addictions, lack of education and lack of opportunities that forced them out onto the streets and return to a safe, productive and self supporting lifestyle.
Please pray for:
The safety of all the women who are out on the streets waiting for this Center of Hope to open.
The provision to hire adequate, caring and compassionate staff to insure that the women are safe and get all of the individualized help that they need to change their lives permanently.
That the Women's Center of Hope would be a place where the power of God resides and that the women who come into the program would come to know Christ as their personal Savior and that salvation would always be the cornerstone of this new ministry.
That the facility and the program would be recieved favorably by the neighborhood and that
the remodeling of the building would go smoothly and efficiently.
That the volunteer Women's Committee would be focused on hearing the voice of God as they plan and support this brand new ministry.

Pray that the streets of this neighborhood would no longer be filled with tragedy and sorrow but that the staff at the Mission would reach further and further out onto the sidewalks and alleys of this neighborhood with help and hope and that once more that Christ would make Barelas a place of hope and restoration to the poor and homeless.
The Rescue Mission Sep 19, 2006
That Heaven's door is continually opened and available so that God's Holy Spirit will not just visit the Mission, instead the Rescue Mission will be a dwelling place for His presence.
That the Mission will continue to be a safe place for the men and women who come here looking for help. That the staff, volunteers and guests would be safe as they seek to help and seek for answers leading to restoration.
Pray that the Board of Directors would be led by the Lord to our future locations and that He would cover us with His wisdom and discernment as we seek ways to glorify Him in all we do.

That God will continually pour out his blessings, wisdom, and love unto them so that they may be fit to do His service.
- The Women's and Men's Day Rooms- that God will equip each man and woman with: strength, hope, and encouragement. And as they leave, they will not leave empty but renewed.
- The Volunteers- that God will forever speak to their hearts on how they can make a difference by devoting their time, and may doing God's work while exemplifying charity, inspire them to do more for Christ.
- Our Donor Family- that God would protect them and that their hearts of love and compassion would not grow tired in doing good but remain steadfast to see the rewards of their faithfulness bear fruit in the lives of the poor.
